New benches
We’re excited to share that all the new benches for the play park have now been delivered and installed! The additions include:
- Two games tables
- A large refectory table with wheelchair access
- Three comfortable seats
Even better – these benches are eco-friendly, made from 12,124 recycled plastic bottles. A win for the environment and our community!
To make the most of the games tables, you can borrow game counters from GoLocal in the village square. There’s a £1 refundable deposit per game bag, which will be returned once the set is brought back.
We’ve introduced this deposit system after discovering that, when counters were left on the tables, some were being used as frisbees!
These improvements are all about creating fun, inclusive spaces for everyone to enjoy – so grab a game bag, head to the park, and let the games begin.
