You are hereby summoned to attend an ordinary meeting of North Thoresby Parish Council, which will be held in North Thoresby Village Hall on Wednesday 9th July 2025, commencing at 7.30pm

Meetings are open to the public by virtue of the Public Bodies Admissions to Meetings Act 1960 section 1 unless the presence is prejudicial to the public interest (section 2). Members of the public wishing to speak during the Open Forum are asked to contact the Clerk in advance of the meeting if possible

   1. The meeting may be recorded.

   3. To remind the members of the public that the meeting is a PC meeting held in public and not a public meeting

  3. Declarations of Interest:  

1. To record declarations of interest by any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.  Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared.  
2. To note dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of the agenda items.   

4. Approval of Previous Minutes:  
   1. For the council to consider approving the draft extraordinary minutes dated the 17th June 2025
5. Public Open Forum – 30 Minutes:  

                     Members of the public have a right to attend and observe parish council meetings. Participation is an         Open forum and is not a statutory requirement and is granted at the discretion of the Chair. Members of the public may speak or ask questions only when invited by the Chair and within the time limits set.

6. District Council Update: ‘

      To receive updates from any attending District Councillor.

      To receive updates from any attending County Councillor

8. Finance Matters:  
   1. For the council to ratify an invoice received from Thoresby Homecare for £10.97+VAT

9. Planning Matters:  
   1. Planning application no. 02546/25/FUL Extension and alteration to existing dwelling to provide additional living accommodation
   2. 02597/25/ESR Environmental Impact Assessment. Land North of High Street North Thoresby.

10. Administration Matters:  

                      To consider the the 2024-25 AGAR

11. Employment Matters:
    1. To consider the appointment for a clerk  and RFO.

12. Village Hall Matters:  
    1. For the council to consider a grant application for the community room refurbishment.
    2. For the council to consider the disposal of the old piano.
    3. For the council to consider the disposal of the redundant A frames
    4. To consider the Christmas tree for 2025

13. Village Matters:  
    1. For the council to note the purchase of new benches for the play park.
    2. For the council to consider a letter received from Cyden Homes
    3. For the council to consider the Cyden homes development on the Beanlands site.
    4. Update on the overgrown trees in Mulberry Close.
