DRAFT Minutes of Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting held on 4 November 2025 at 7.30pm at North Thoresby Village Hall, The Square, North Thoresby, DN36 5QL

Item 0725/40 Welcome to the meeting: Chair opened meeting at 18.59 and welcomed councillors.

Item 0725/41 To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations: None

Item 0725/42 Apologies for absence: Apologise received for Cllr Emily Bakes and accepted

Item 0725/43 Chair’s Report: Nothing to report.

To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed in relation to the following: -

To receive updates and financially sensitive information in respect of employment matters

Item 0725/44: Clerk to remain in post until April 2026 – Vice Chair to conduct a appraisal and report back to council before January 2026 meeting. This was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED.

Item 0725/45: request to taken down the statement on the  minutes of July 2023 was declined and should remain as none of the councillors and officers involved with the councils now were involved at the time. This was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED.

Item 0725/46: Continue taking advise on FOIA requests from insurance company and LALC and due to the subject of the requests and number of requests the council proposes, seconded and RESOLVED to deem the complainant vexatious.

Item 0725/47: AGAR 2024/25 objections have been raised and clerk has prepared document that will be shared with the external auditor and relation to each objection. Proposed document, seconded and RESOLVED.
