Minutes 13th February 2025
Dear Councillor,
You are hereby summoned to attend an extraordinary ordinary meeting of North Thoresby Parish Council, which will be held in North Thoresby Village Hall on Thursday 13th February 2025, commencing at 7.00pm
Meetings are open to the public by virtue of the Public Bodies Admissions to Meetings Act 1960 section 1 unless the presence is prejudicial to the public interest (section 2). Members of the public wishing to speak during the Open Forum are asked to contact the Clerk in advance of the meeting if possible.

The Chair opened the meeting at 19.00hrs informing the public of the safety procedures and that the meeting may be recorded

Cllr Marfleet informed the council his declaration of interests are published on the ELDC website

4. To appoint a temporary Clerk 4.25
Cllr Bakes was proposed as acting clerk. Proposed by Cllr Butters seconded by Cllr Goodwin Resolved 4 for the motion 1 abstained
5. To appoint a temporary RFO 5.25

6. Approval of Previous Minutes: 6.25
a) For the council to consider approving the draft ordinary minutes dated the 4th of November 2024. Resolved unanimous vote
b) For the council to consider approving the draft extraordinary minutes dated the 19th of November 2024 Resolved unanimous vote.
c) For the council to consider approving the draft ordinary minutes dated 2nd December 2024. Resolved unanimous vote.

a) To update the council on the vacancy for a clerk RFO.

a) To consider number of councillors required to make payments

15. Village Hall Matters:
a) For the council to note the caretaker now has a DBS certificate
b) For the council to note Cllr Goodwin now has a DBS certificate
c) For the council to note the caretaker has completed COSHH in the workplace qualification and is now undertaking a working at heights and basic first aid course.
