MINUTES FOR THE MEETING 5TH JULY 2021 AT THE VILLAGE HALL NORTH THORESBY.
ATTENDING.
Cllr Knight Chairman. Cllr Fisher. Cllr Burnett. Cllr Wyatt, Cllr Thomas. Cllr Aldridge, Cllr Smith.(maybe a little late)
1. Apologies Cllr Howard unable to attend.
2. Declarations of interest. NONE.
3.To approve minutes 4th May 2021. Resolved
4.N/A.
5. Public forum. NONE.
6. Update from Cllrs. Cllr Aldridge confirmed Sadlers Cottage passed. Prospect House Rejected.
Cllr Smith joined meeting 7.15pm.
Cllr Smith had a conversation with applicant with regards to an alternative plan but it was rejected. Cllr Aldridge to send Clerk report regarding Prospect House.
Concerns have been reported to Cllr Smith about flooding, blocked drains an ongoing issue throughout North Thoresby as is the surface of Ludborough Road. It was agreed that a public meeting should be arranged inviting Anglian Water. ELDC. Drainage Board, and members of the public. Clerk to arrange. RESOLVED.
Reports from members of the public regarding music levels from The New Inn. 4-6pmIt was suggested that members of the public should in the first instance speak to pub regarding their concerns.
Cllr Smith and Cllr Aldridge shared information regarding ELDC joining Boston and South Holland creating a shift in balance of power to be called South East Lincolnshire. Cllrs have objected to this move.
Cllr Smith has been involved with the Glass recycle at Holton le Clay and looks like they will lose it completely, North Thoresby are still waiting for information however North Thoresby could also lose this service as well.
7. Planning application N/133/01240/21 The Coach House Station Road North Thoresby. Parish Council will submit a report regarding concerns and objecting to the planning application. RESOLVED.
8. To agree a date for tidy up village for weekend 16/17. To be put of facebook for volunteers. RESOLVED.
9.To approve CCTV contract RESOLVED.
10.Update Magpies. Hi viz ordered, Karen has received equipment from ELDC. Clerk to order litter pickers for children. RESOLVED.
11.To agree budget for speed watch. Cllr Wyatt informed meeting that the Police have approved equipment but may need updating in a couple of years. Hi viz are fine and were impressed with the information produced by Cllr Fisher. A greed a maximum budget of £300 for additional equipment. RESOLVED.
12.To agree to fit a smart meter. I was agreed that clerk to contact SSE to fit a smart meter. RESOLVED.
13. To agree finances. RESOLVED.
