4/12/20 PLANNING APPLICATION UPDATE. Information shared.
5/12/20.PLANNING APPLICATION. N/133/02067/20. PROSPECT HOUSE. STATION ROAD NORTH THORESBY.DN365Q. Extension to existing detached garage to form carport/covered way.
Councillors are concerned that no site meeting has been carried out as agree earlier in the year. Parish discussed the consideration of altering existing garage roofline to a flat roof along with a reduction in length of the new application to accommodate the needs of the applicant and concerns raised by the neighbour regarding loss of enjoyment from the property, and suggest comments go to Committee. 7/12/20. PLANNING APPLICATION N/133/02073/20. NEW INN STATION ROAD, NORTH THORESBY. DN365QS. Alterations to existing building to provide 4no LED flood lights and 1no lantern. NO OBJECTIONS.
8/12/20. PLANNING APPLICATION N/133/02109/20. Land adjacent to the Station North Thoresby. Erection of no6 bungalows with attached covered parking area and walls/fencing to a max of 2.2m, provision of parking construction of a vehicular access. It noted that this
development could cause detrimental effect to the proximity of the heritage train station. The 60mph speed at junction of proposed development. The distance from centre of the village and accessibility for older occupancy. More detail and information regarding use of the larger area of parcel of land and infrastructure concerns. Planning application. OBJECTIONS.
9/12/20. PLANNING APPLICATION. TPO North Thoresby 1984(133.05) tree(s) T54 ref 0109/20 TPA. Copper Beach crown reduction by 2m leave a finished height of 8m and crown radius of 4m crown thin by removing no more than 10% of leaf area. NO OBJECTIONS.
10/12/20. TO CONSIDER DIGITAL NEWS LETTER. An article will be written by Cllr Knight and an update for parishioners to be circulated prior to Christmas, unfortunately they will not on this occasion be hand delivered but will be in the post office and shop and Cllr kuzemczak will arrange mailchimp. It is hoped that we can get back to a more indepth newsletter to include digital and a printed version in the new year. RESOLVED.
11/12/20. TO CONSIDER ROAD SAFETY. Parish will advertise for volunteers who would like to be trained for the use of road safety equipment. Council would like to thank Cllr Marfleet for supporting the Parish in adding additional signs to inform drivers of change of speed. RESOLVED.
12/12/20. POP IN STORAGE. Nothing to report.
13/12/20. OAK TREE UPDATE. We are looking at places to plant the trees.
14/12/20. TO REVIEW NOTICE BOARDS AT VILLAGE HALL. To remove the notice board nearest to the post office, to improve the area and use the existing notice boards, with the view to reinstating if needed. RESOLVED.
15/12/20. TO CONSIDER ADULT OUTDOOR GYM EQUIPMENT FOR MAPLETOFT PLAYING FIELD. Quotes and funding to be looked into to install 3 items of Gym equipment. RESOLVED.
16/12/20. TO CONSIDER REPAIRS NEEDED AT PLAY PARK. Agreed to deligate repairs to be carried out in play park to the Parish clerk, contact Newby Leisure regarding further repairs. RESOLVED.
17/12/20. TO RECEIVE BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR 2021/2022. Agreed to consider budget proposals for January meeting. RESOLVED
18/12/20. TO RECEIVE FINANCE FORECAST TO END OF FINANCIAL YEAR. We have reserves of £15400 for repairs and improvements to Village hall and Play park. Very little income from the hall this year due to Covid. Agreed to discuss Precept for 20/21 at January meeting. RESOLVED.
19/12/20. SCRIBE UPDATE. Clark has started transferring accounts and will be beneficial to the Parish Council.
20/12/20 TO DISCUSS DUNCAN TOPLISS INCREASE IN FEES. Awaiting a call from Duncan Topliss to explain the increase.
21/12/20 TO DISCUSS DOG BINS IN FOOTBALL FIELD. Clerk to contact the Dog warden for more bins and to look rubbish bins, looking at quotes for waste management. RESOLVED.
22/12/20 TO CONSIDER PURCHASING METAL BIRD DECORATIONS. Cllr Fisher suggested the creation of a nature trail around the villages, supply a map to include bird decorations to be purchased and placed around North Thoresby, Grainsby and Waithe. RESOLVED.
23/12/20. AGREE PAYMENTS. Green grass 299.87. Zoom 14.39. North Thoresby Sports 100.00 RESOLVED.
24/12/20.TO CONSIDER EXCLUDING PUBLIC AND PRESS TO DISCUSS PUBLIC TOILETS AND AGREE ACTIONS. CLOSED SESSION.
